Geering Chartered Surveyors is an independent property consultancy providing valuation and professional advice across Devon and Cornwall.
The practice works across residential, agricultural and rural, commercial, charity, planning and development, and Expert Witness matters. We combine specialist knowledge with a straightforward approach: understand the property, understand what the client is trying to achieve, and provide clear, considered advice proportionate to the decision that needs to be made.

Rupert has more than 25 years’ experience in the property industry, spanning agency, valuation and professional consultancy.
His career began in property agency before he went on to co-own and manage a successful estate agency and property consultancy in rural Mid Devon. Following the sale of that business, he joined a leading multi-disciplinary firm with a strong agricultural focus before establishing Geering Chartered Surveyors.
His work covers residential, agricultural and rural, commercial, charity, planning and development, and Expert Witness matters, with particular experience in instructions that cross more than one property sector.
Rupert holds an MSc in Rural Estate Management from the Royal Agricultural University and a Diploma of Higher Education in Law.
