Matrimonial Valuations

When a marriage or long-term relationship ends, one of the key financial issues that often comes up is the need to value property assets. Courts usually ask for valuation reports that meet recognised standards of impartiality.

Because of this, the reports are often prepared by a Chartered Valuation Surveyor, who is usually jointly appointed by both parties as a Single Joint Expert Witness to provide an independent report for the court. However, valuations can also be done for just one party to help with negotiations.

Rupert Geering is a RICS Registered Valuer with extensive experience in preparing valuations that comply with Part 25 of the Family Procedure Rules. He’s available to provide valuations for matrimonial purposes across Devon and Cornwall.

Whether you need a valuation for the family home, business premises, agricultural land, or an investment property, feel free to reach out to us for more information or to discuss your needs.
